“Stories are memories, instruction manuals, and moral compasses.”
- Aleks Krotoski

Tabatha Myers is a writer and comedian raised by one of the first biracial families in the eternally-flooded small town of Johnstown, PA. After undergoing medically-necessary reconstructive surgery on her face, she left her small town (and the religious cult she was raised in) for college. She collected a vast array of stories through travel, unusual side hustles, and the oversharing strangers she met along the way. A surprise autism diagnosis and a year spent working as a large snake handler helped her realize she wanted to tell stories professionally. Her production work at NPR and a stint at St Nell’s Humor Writing Residency for Women honed her storytelling skills. She is passionate about the connection she makes onstage as a standup comedian and utilizes her screenwriting as a way to make the audience feel a sense of belonging. She’ll tell you about accidentally paragliding in Colombia with very little prompting.
